The pros:
- Impressive output for it’s size
- Can be used as a key light, fill light and back light.
- Easy to operate – it has a clear and easy to ready display to show the color level, allows you to adjust the color temperature either in units of 1% (fine) or 10% (coarse), and shows the batteries level (if you’re using them).
- Portable – This panel is easy to carry, thanks to its light weight (less than 1 KG) and measurements.
- Bicolor illumination – This specific model offers both tungsten (K3200) & daylight (K5500) color temperature, that can be controlled separately. Please note there is a similar model that offers only one color, but I didn’t get to try that.
- Can operate either with DC power adapter or batteries.
The cons:
- Power adapter and batteries are sold separately – this is another expense that you’ll have to make.
- You must use the right power adapter to operate it well – If the electric output is lower than the LED panel’s input, then you wont make the most of it. If the power adapter’s output is more powerful than the LED panel’s input, then it will be ruined in a second.
