The V30S car wireless charger features infrared sensors on both the front (thw two transparent circles) and the back (the “Power” symbol), which control the automatic clamps. A simple wave of your hand near these sensors extends the clamps automatically, eliminating the need to physically touch the charger.
The smartphone can then charge either wirelessly or using the magnetic connectors, depending on the type (iPhone/iOS, USB-C, or Micro-USB).
The cup holder mount’s adjustable base allows it to fit perfectly in various cars with cup sockets.
Once adjusted, it makes your smartphone easily accessible for control and navigation display while driving. If you need to use your phone, it remains within reach.

Pros
Responsive Auto-Clamping Motion Sensors: The charging unit features two motion sensors that enable it to open and close efficiently. One sensor is located at the front, at the bottom part of the face where it says “wireless charger,” and the other is at the back, right above the outlet bracket. The motion sensors respond quickly when you wave your hand, allowing for easy one-time use without needing repeated attempts.
Secure Clamping Grip: The clamp holds the smartphone securely during the ride, preventing it from getting loose or falling. The clamps are coated with rubber on the edges that touch the smartphone, ensuring a tight grip without causing any damage. This ensures a safe and stable experience while driving, even on bumpy roads or sharp turns.
Reasonable charging speed: The charging output ranges between 5W-15W. Although wireless charging isn’t as fast as wired charging, the V30S manages a decent performance. When used with the Samsung Galaxy S24, it takes about 3 minutes to add 1% to the battery level when no apps or tasks are running in the background. While it’s not the fastest, it gets the job done.
Compatibility with various mounts: The charger is versatile and can be used with different mounts. It comes with an excellent cup holder mount that has a relatively flexible long arm, and a vent clip mount. Additionally, it’s compatible with other mounts like a suction cup that can attach to the car’s windshield.
Charging for Non-Wireless Smartphones: The V30S can charge smartphones that don’t support wireless charging by using magnetic charging connectors. These connectors can be swapped out to fit iOS, USB-C, or Micro-USB devices, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of both older and newer smartphones.
Cons
No manual clamping adjustment: The clamping mechanism relies entirely on the sensor system. If a smartphone is present, the clamps will stop once they grip the device. However, if the charger isn’t connected to a power source, the clamping mechanism won’t work. This means you need to have your car ignited to place the smartphone on the mount. Additionally, the clamping mechanism is a simple one, that doesn’t have a memory function to remember the specific size of your smartphone. It always extends to the maximum width and then retracts until it senses the width of the smartphone.
Dependence on power source: Without an active power source, the clamping mechanism is inoperable, which can be inconvenient, especially if you need to place or remove your phone without turning on your car.
No fast charging capabilities: While the charger supports a reasonable charging speed of 5W-15W, it doesn’t offer fast charging capabilities, which might be a drawback for users accustomed to quicker wired charging solutions.
