Summary:

An impressive FM receiver that uses either Bluetooth connection or 3.5mm cable connection to broadcast audio and make phone calls from your smartphone. Plus, it serves as a smartphone holder.

The brand: ANLUD
The model: 4330380289

The pros:

  • Though I am a supporter of 100% Bluetooth receiver on FM receiver, this device offers a very impressive audio quality, especially compared to other FM audio receivers I reviewed so far. This is relevant to both for audio & phone calls, and my opinion applies only when using the Bluetooth connection and not the 3.5mm cable.
  • Easy to operate.
  • Does a good job as a smartphone holder.
  • Offers a USB port to charge other devices (such as charging your smartphone).
  • Can be used either with a Bluetooth connection or using a 3.5mm cable (if you don’t have a Bluetooth connection, don’t want to use a Bluetooth connection or your smartphone’s battery is low).

The cons:

  • Following what I mentioned above, the audio quality wasn’t perfect while using the 3.5mm cable (as you will notice some background noises).
  • I wish the charging cable (and the 3.5mm cable) were a bit longer.
  • It was hard in the first place to attach the device to the car’s vents, and I recommend to attach it only to the ones that don’t move (otherwise it might cause them to break while trying to attach it).

FAQ :

Q: Does this device support Bluetooth connection?

A: You can choose to connect this device to your smartphone either by Bluetooth or 3.5mm cable. If you choose to use it via Bluetooth connection, the device will receive the audio signals from your smartphone (or any device you’ll be using with it) and will transmit it via radio signals to your car’s system, to an FM radio that you’ll define (and isn’t hosting any existing radio station).

Q: Do I need to connect this device to the AUX of the car’s audio system?

A: This device broadcast to the car’s audio system via FM radio frequency, so there is no need to connect it to the car’s Aux/Line-in input. The 3.5mm cable that is part of the device, connects to the smartphone that you’ll be using, if you choose not to use the Bluetooth connection.
