The pros:
Solid design – Suitable both as gaming and office chair.
High quality of materials – …
Excellent packaging – everything came so organized which made the unboxing & assembling the chair easy tasks.
Robust steel base – The ICON’s metal base is steady as a rock. There’s a good alignment between the chair’s seat, hydraulic piston and base that manages well with the weight of the person who sits on the chair and prevents unwanted movement.
Very comfortable – From the first moment I sat on the noblechairs Icon it felt like a natural fit for my needs. It provides excellent support for my back while sitting in a convenient posture that doesn’t seem forced. It happens to me occasionally that I work consecutively without leaving the chair for several hours, and though sitting for long periods isn’t recommended, at least I can say the chair is comfortable.
Adjusts in various ways – The noblechairs Icon adjusts in several ways, and I’m sure many people will be able to find a sitting position they are happy with.
4D armrest – The armrests can move up/down, left/right, in/out, to the sides so there endless possibilities to adjust them. I’m sure everyone will be able to find a convinient position to place their hands, or you can lower them so they won’t bother you.
In my video, you can see me demonstrate every possible way you can adjust the armrest.
The cons:
Price – This is a relatively expensive chair.
Metal particles leftovers from the screws – After inserting the side-plastic covers I found metal particles because I put pressure on the screws. I am not sure if it says something about the quality of the screws but I didn’t expect that to happen.
The lower back cushion – At first, I installed both cushions, but I decided to remove the one at the bottom soon after. Although the lower back cushion provides support to my lower back, I had to adjust it every time I sat on the chair. I’m not sure if this is because I didn’t place the cushion properly or not, but I don’t want to stretch the strings too much for nothing.
It might get sweaty – Sweat can appear beneath the legs if I sit with short pants and on the armrests if I place my hands and it is too hot. These are familiar issues with PU leather chairs, and you should be aware of that.
Gets dusty easily – Because the chair’s cover is made from PU leather, it absorbs dust easily. Every several days I need to go over the chair with a cloth and whip the dust off it.
