What’s inside the package?

The only thing that comes inside the package is the LED light itself.

In addition, I received a power adapter, though I assume it might be sold with no or different adapter by different sellers and manufacturers. For this reason, I strongly advise you to make sure that the adapter is included.

The pros:

Affordable price – I’m not familiar with many LED panels with an output of 60W that are sold for this price. Probably the relatively low cost is determined because this panel isn’t new nor that accessible.

Plus, it has some setbacks (as I mentioned below in the cons section). But if you can live with it, which I assume many potential users can, then I don’t think you will find many better alternatives in this price range.

Powerful Illumination – This panel generates a lot of light, that will make it perfect to use as key or fill light. This amount of illumination will is excellent for instance for Chromakey/green-screen productions.

Wide color temperature range – According to the details on the package, the LED panel offers a color temperature range of 3200K (warm) – 6000K (white).

I’m not sure if this detail is correct or not because I currently don’t know how to measure such thing, but it does seem brighter than other LED panels that I’ve been using until today, and reach a claimed white color temperature of 5500K-5600k.

Adjustable panel – The panel has an adjustable mounting bracket, which can be rotated in various angles. This is very useful because not the LED panels that I’ve been using so far offered that.

Setting the LED panel is easy, and it has a strong lock which prevents unwanted movement and allows to use it safely.

Materials & build quality – Let’s be honest; the design of this LED panel isn’t that attractive. But if we exclude the design out of the equation, this is a solid item that is from relatively durable materials.

The body & buttons are made from metal, while the mounting bracket & the diffusing front cover are from plastic. And so far, it proved to lasts well.

The cons:

The cooling fan generates noise – The cooling fan inside the panel generates quite a lot of noise. Newer models of LED panels usually don’t have anymore a cooling fan, but this one does. And as you can see in my video, it can be noisy, and be heard if you are using a sensitive microphone.

The fan absorbs dust – Over time, the cooling fan absorbs dust, which creates a bit dirt and in extreme scenario can affect the operation of the cooling fan.

I didn’t open the body of the LED to clean it, and the only thing I did was to blow on it, to keep away the dust.

This won’t cause too much dirt, but this is another factor that you don’t have to deal with in newer generation LED panels that don’t include this cooling fan.

Absence of a digital display – Personally, I wasn’t too bothered about the lack of digital display.

If there was a digital display though, it would help me be more accurate with my setup for video productions, and get some useful details on the operation of the LED panel (such as the color temperature, brightness level, power consumption).

Doesn’t support external battery – This panel can be operated only using a power adapter. But considering its measurements this isn’t that much of a deal, since LED panel isn’t ideal to carry around anyway.

User manual:

N/A (Not Available) – the item wasn’t supplied with any user manual.
