Pros
Video quality – It can shoot videos in 4K resolution, which is more than enough. Even in lower resolutions, the outcome is very good.
Design – It looks modern, simple, and intuitive to use, which makes it a cool camera.
Lightweight – easy to carry and use, even children will feel comfortable with it.
Plenty of features – I still need to learn how to make the most of them, but among them, you can find Wi-Fi connectivity (which worked well with my smartphone & tablet), flipping touch screen, Stabilizer, Manual focus, various video/photo modes, etc.
Cons
Touch screen sensitivity – The touch screen is not so sensitive and will take me time to adjust to.
Price – this is not a cheap camcorder at all, and although Panasonic offers a great product with the traditional basic accessories, software that you can download for free (HD Write AE 5.3, works only with Windows OS), and an app that you can download for free to enable the WI-FI connectivity. (Image App by Panasonic, can be downloaded from the App store & Google Play store). I wish Panasonic could throw in an additional battery to make it a more lucrative deal.
Price of accessories – When it comes to the original accessories by Panasonic, such as batteries, it is not a cheap business at all… I am not sure about the quality and reliability of the alternative accessories by other manufacturers, but I found several that cost much less. Yet Panasonic does not recommend using non-original accessories and I truly can relate to that.
