Summary:
A full mechanical keyboard with 104 keys. It has 9 preset LED illumination modes. You can control the LED illumination in various ways. The price is reasonable.

The pros:
Materials & build quality – The keyboard is made from ABS plastic & metal, while the USB wire is cloth jacketed.
The overall weight is 1.135 kg which isn’t that different from a normal full keyboard. Typing on this keyboard is pure fun. It doesn’t feel cheap or too light. The keys are attached properly and respond well.
Responsiveness – Each of the keys responds well when using them, and makes a “click’ sound. Though I didn’t run special tests, it seems very precise.
Gamers would love to know this keyboard supports N-Key Roll Over, 6-Key Roll Over, and should prevent Ghosting.
- X-Key Roll Over – X marks the number of keys that can be pressed simultaneously. “N-Key Roll Over” means that you can press ALL the keys simultaneously
- 6-key rollover meaning only 6
key press includingmodified key (for example, Control + C key) can be done at the same time. In some situation you have to use 6-key rollover mode otherwise your system will not recognize your key press. For example, in some older computer system, older BIOS, or an older operating system.
Design – Like other computer gaming accessories, the design is relatively extroverted compared to a normal full keyboard. At first, the metal red body and the screws seemed a bit extroverted, but it fits well into my working space.
LED illumination – The colorful LED illumination is a total gimmick but is executed in a brilliant way. Though this is related to the design, it deserves its own section
Each of the 9 preset LED illumination modes is hypnotizing. You can increase/decrease the LED’s brightness & speed. Also, you can set define new LED illumination modes on your own.
Reasonable price – One of the things I like about EasySMX products, is that they offer excellent value for money. Their products have a reasonable price tag compared to other similar models.
The cons:
Power consumption – I assume that the keyboard consumes more energy compared to a normal keyboard, because of the LED illumination.
Design can be perceived as extroverted – Personally, I love this keyboard, but I guess not everyone would like the red/metallic design.
The LED illumination can be tiring – Eventually, like any other gaming accessory that I reviewed so far, I don’t see any added value compared to a normal full keyboard, except the design and illumination.
