Summary
This “smart device” is an electric socket that you can control using a wireless connection to a WiFi network and a smartphone/tablet any time, from everywhere. It works well compared to other similar devices I tried in the past, it’s built quality is good, comes with an easy-to-operate app and its price is very reasonable.
In the video itself I show the unboxing of the item, demonstrate how to use it, explain about the device and the eWeLink app that allows you to control it, and share with you my impression about it so far.

Pros
It works well – This might sound obvious to you, but I already reviewed about a year ago a similar device named “ORIVIBO S20” which didn’t work well for me, so I was afraid to waste time once again on trying to operate a device that doesn’t work well. But it’s very easy to set up the device, pair it with your wireless network, and control it using a smartphone/tablet.
The app that operates it – I already introduced the “eWeLink” app that the manufacturer recommends using with this smart socket, and I just love it. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices and is very intuitive to navigate and use.
Price – The price compared to similar devices sold in the market, even under different names, is very attractive.
Design and build quality – The smart socket has a curvy modern design, and it doesn’t feel like a cheap plastic item.
Cons
Didn’t work with several devices that I plugged into it – Though this smart socket worked well most of the time, I plugged a desk lamp, which is about 10-15 years old, with a fluorescent lamp, and it didn’t manage to operate it wirelessly (it did work when enabled the lamp manually by pressing the button in the center of the smart socket).
No control using Windows 10 – Maybe this is something that can be sorted out with an update (current or future update) or another app/software, but the specific eWeLink app that controls this smart socket isn’t available for Windows 10 (or any other operating system that isn’t Android/iOS).

FAQ
I paired this smart socket with my WiFi network and with the App, but it doesn’t work – What can I do
Assuming you did everything well, I suggest you first press the button on the front of the smart socket and make sure that it works and that there is a response on the app itself.
If so this is a good sign, and probably you will be able to use it from now on. If not, try to plug other devices into this smart socket and see if they work, because I did have a problem operating a certain fluorescent lamp wirelessly, and I’m not sure what’s the reason for that.
If both the solutions I mentioned above didn’t work, then you should contact the seller, let him know about your problem, and ask for a solution.
Here are all the relevant about “EWeLink” (the app that allows you to operate the Wifi smart lamp holder):
